Claire Melville
Claire Melville has been involved in psychology since 2002, and successfully completed her Bachelor of Social Science degree in Psychology through Bond University and then obtained First Class Honours in Psychology through the University of Southern Queensland.
While studying at Bond University, Claire was awarded the 'Deans Award in Social Psychology' in 2003 and under the supervision of Dr Graeme Senior Claire researched the effects of malingering when utilising the assessment tool MMPI-2 and its Validity Scales.
Claire was granted membership into the Golden Key International Honour Society for outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence at Griffith University after completing Bachelor of Primary Education degree in 2002 and has previous primary education teaching experience from grade 1 - 5.
Since completing her Honours degree, Claire has been worked a number of years within the Insurance Industries (e.g. WorkCover Queensland), case managing and assisting individuals with their treatment, recovery and rehabilitation following a work related injury.
Claire continues to work with the company WorkCentre Solutions who focus on delivering exceptional occupational rehabilitation services and provides such services such as, Adjustment to Injury Counselling, Career Counselling, Vocational Assessments and Return to Work - redeployment programs. Claire is currently an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society and is currently a provisionally registered psychologist, however is eligible for full registration in Queensland.
Claire completed two courses with the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Organisational Counselling and Organisational Behaviour in 2006. Since then, Claire has also worked with corporate companies such as EM Signs Australia, Tolpidge & Lasertron, performing organisational consulting services in areas such as selection and assessment, job analysis and has previously developed and implemented employee performance reviews and employee attitude surveys in the workplace.
